Calon Cymru Fostering sponsors staff to take part in Skydive

Skydive Image
Two very brave members of our Calon Cymru team are taking part in a tandem Skydive at the end of August over the glorious Gower Peninsula. Michelle Crane, Senior Administrator and Katie Vaughan, Recruitment officer will be skydiving up to 12,000 feet for two incredible charities close to their hearts.

Michelle will be raising money for the Cardiff and Vale Breast Centre Appeal. Breast cancer impacts so many lives and with one of her closest friends being affected this year it’s more important for her to raise money this year. Donations will go to help fund specialist breast cancer services in the University Hospital Llandough.

City Hospice is the charity Katie will be supporting. After losing her godfather a few years ago to terminal cancer, she is taking on this challenge to make sure other families in similar situations get the support they deserve.

The Calon Cymru team want to wish both ladies the best of luck during their exciting adventure and are pleased to be able to sponsor each of their incredible charities.

City Hospice have reached out to say ‘Thank you to Calon Cymru from City Hospice, this is such a lovely way to support you and your fundraising’.

Keep your eyes peeled for updates and hopefully some pictures of their breath-taking experience.
