Calon Cymru Sponsors Local Dance Team

At Calon Cymru, we have always been proud to support local communities and clubs. One of the ways we have done, and continue to do that, is by providing sponsorship.

This year, we were excited to partner with Dance Crazy Studios in Llantwit Fardre, a vibrant dance school that has been inspiring young dancers since 2002, and boasts over 400 members.

Dance Crazy Studios places family at its heart, offering diverse classes tailored to children of all abilities. Whether students wish to dance for fun or compete at high levels, the studio provides a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring that dancers of all ages and skill levels can flourish.

Past successes for the school include the ‘Stars of the future top teacher’ award for 7 consecutive years, winning over 50 British and UK formation titles, producing several ‘Team GB’ representatives, and winning not only national, but international titles.

This year, Calon Cymru Fostering has proudly sponsored the Junior 4 couple ‘Purge’ Team, who have recently wrapped up an unforgettable 2025 Latin dance formation season. Their accomplishments for the season include securing 3rd place at the 2025 World Formation Cup, 3rd place at the Blackpool Latin Formation Dance Championships, and 2nd place at the United Kingdom Formation Titles 2025.

Michelle Crane, our Senior Administrator at Calon Cymru, expressed her gratitude for the sponsorship. Her daughter Emily competes in the Purge team, so she has seen first-hand the difference that our gift of sponsorship has made. She said: 

“We cannot thank Calon Cymru enough. Their sponsorship has been instrumental in helping us fund costumes and other essentials for this season, and we are incredibly grateful for their support.”
